STATEMENT OF FAITH

  1. The Nature of God:

We believe in one true and living God, eternally existent in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Each person of the Trinity is co-equal and co-eternal, sharing the same divine nature and attributes.

  1. The Deity of Jesus Christ:

We believe in the full deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God. We affirm His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary and atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension to the right hand of the Father.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and humanity.

  1. The Bible:

We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. It is the complete revelation of God’s will for the salvation of humanity and the ultimate guide for Christian faith and practice.

The Scriptures are without error in the original manuscripts and are fully trustworthy in all matters of doctrine and conduct.

  1. Salvation:

We believe that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by human works but is granted to those who repent of their sins and trust in Christ’s finished work on the cross.

Through His death and resurrection, Jesus provides forgiveness, justification, and reconciliation with God, securing eternal life for all who believe.

  1. The Baptism of the Holy Spirit:

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a distinct and subsequent experience to salvation. This baptism empowers believers for Christian service and witness.

We affirm that the evidence of the baptism of the Holy Spirit includes the gift of speaking in other tongues, as well as other spiritual gifts and fruits that edify the church and glorify God.

  1. Healing and Deliverance:

We believe in the provision of bodily healing and deliverance through the atoning work of Jesus Christ. By His stripes, we are healed, and through His sacrificial death, we are delivered from the power of sin, sickness, and oppression.

We affirm that healing and deliverance are available to all believers and are appropriated through faith, prayer, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

  1. The Return of Christ:

We believe in the literal, imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth. He will return in power and glory to judge the living and the dead.

We affirm the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: the saved will be raised to eternal life in the presence of God, enjoying everlasting communion with Him, while the unsaved will be raised to eternal damnation, separated from God in everlasting punishment.

  1. The Church:

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all true believers who are united by faith in Jesus Christ. The Church is called to worship God, edify believers, and evangelize the world.

We affirm the importance of regular fellowship, the observance of the sacraments (baptism and the Lord’s Supper), and the ministry of spiritual gifts within the body of Christ.

  1. Christian Living:

We believe that Christians are called to live a life of holiness and obedience to God’s Word. This includes personal integrity, moral purity, and a commitment to loving and serving others.

We are to be salt and light in the world, reflecting the character of Christ in our daily lives and bearing witness to His transforming power.

  1. Eternal Destiny:

We believe that every person will spend eternity in either heaven or hell. Those who have trusted in Christ for salvation will enjoy eternal life in the presence of God, experiencing His love and fellowship forever.

Those who reject Christ will face eternal separation from God in hell, a place of conscious torment and judgment.
